Handmade baby/children light blue jacket from organic cotton jersey featuring the mice from The Country Mouse and The City Mouse collection.

All products are HANDMADE by ME, Daria.

Material: outer fabric - organic loopback jersey (light sweater) from 97% organic cotton + 3% lycra// lining - organic brushed French Terry from 95% organic cotton + 5% lycra.

  • Size: 9-12 months (80 cm) up to 4 years (104 cm).   • Main features of the HOGWARTS hooded jackets: roomy, soft and comfortable; fully lined with contrasting color; made from organic materials; it closes on the front with wooden buttons. Please note that even though the jackets are fully lined they are NOT reversible, due to the use of regular buttons.

  • Price: The price refers to ONE organic RED HOGWARTS  jacket with patterned lining only. Other garments or objects in the photos are only meant for display purposes and are not included in the price.

 

 

 

 

Soft, warm and roomy are the three words which better describe the qualities of this lovely organic HOGWARTS hooded cardigan/jacket. Ooops! Did I mention irresistibly cute? The patterned outer fabric is a real eye-catcher. The red jackets have a lovely patterned fabric instead. Let's start from its softness, though. What makes it so fluffy? A combination of two fabrics: a brown, brushed French Terry for the lining (warm sweater fabric) and a loopback cotton jersey for the outer fabric. What makes it so fluffy? The brushed lining works its magic. What makes it warm? The fact that the lining is made from an organic warm sweater material called French Terry, with a brushed yet not visible inside and the outside is a slightly thicker organic cotton jersey. What makes it roomy? Because it's designed to have a generous fit, it can be used either as a longer buttoned cardigan as well as a lighter jacket (not water proof, of course), depending on the outside temperature and on what your child is wearing underneath. 

As for the whole The Country Mouse and The City Mouse collection, the artwork featuring the mice was created by  Anastasia Wessex, a very talented illustrator who collaborated with me on this lovely collection. 

The red jacket is the only one featuring an even colored outer fabric and a patterned lining. The "Strawberries Party" mice pattern on the lining features male characters as well as female characters and is scattered with sweet and juicy strawberries on a white or light cream background (depending on availability). Please get in touch with me first to enquire. The photos only show the mice on a white background. A freshly baked strawberry cake is about to be served and the plants are being taken care of. All mice are working  very hard... Wait... Did I say all mice? How about that little guy taking a siesta under the strawberry plant? 

The lining of this garment is made from either a white or a neutral/cream organic light sweater fabric! The jacket closes on the front with round, wooden coconut buttons.

The HOGWARTS hooded vest/jacket has all it takes to keep your little one warm during the cooler Fall or Spring days inside and warmer Fall and Spring days outside. It is roomy and comfortable and has a hood which makes it perfect to be worn upon regular clothing for  a stroll on the baby carrier when the weather allows it.Made of beautiful organic fabric, it's cute and stylish at the same time and will definitely be a very appreciated gift. All you need to do is pick one of the two patterns. Which one will it be?
