♡ SHIPPING, RETURN AND REFUND POLICY ♡

I only ship with Track & Trace code, to make sure both you and I can trace your order. For any other shipping upgrade (such as an insurance), please get in touch with me before placing your order.

SHIPPING COSTS WILL BE CALCULATED AT CHECKOUT Depending on the weight and volume of the ordered item(s). Shipping up to two lightweight and low volume items will be (at least within the Netherlands and the European Union) cheaper than shipping other heavier items, not only because they weigh less, but also because they can be easily sent in flatter or smaller boxes. Please note that the highest shipping costs will apply for the soft booties. If you want to save a little bit on postage when you order the soft booties, I kindly ask you to get in touch with me first.

All "ready to ship" items will be shipped within 3 working days, but in most cases the next working day.

When ordering from a country which does not belong to the European Union, the price of the products will be 21% lower than the one you saw when you visited my stand during a market in The Netherlands. That's because the price does not show the 21% tax which we do pay in The Netherlands when purchasing garments and many other products. BUT when ordering from The Netherlands you will need to pay import taxes to your own country prior to receiving your order. How much that is depends on your country, plus some handling fees of the carrier/postal service. (For the United States importfees are currently 15% of the total amount - including shipping costs - plus other handling fees charged by the postal service which also depend for example on the number of purchased products) I kindly ask you to keep that in mind when placing an order from outside the EU-union, in order to avoid nasty surprises. If you refuse to pay the importfees upon receiving your package, this will have a huge impact on my small business.

CUSTOM FEES are sole responsibility of the customer! International orders outside Europe can take anywhere from 1 week to 2 months depending on the destination and if held a little longer at customs. Luckily orders can be easily traced, but sometimes longer periods without any updates may occour. Please, be patient. If you did not contact me prior to placing an order for an expressed or insured delivery, all we can do is give it a little extra time. Especially during busy holiday times and when shipping outside Europe shipping may take longer than we are used to. I am in no way responsible for delays in delivery, but keep in mind that I keep tracking your order as well and I will help however I can. If you wish to purchase an insurance with your order, please get in touch with me to know more about the costs.

If you your desired size or specific color/pattern is not available to be added to the cart, please get in touch with me (Daria) via the contact form here on the webshop, e-mail at talestowear@gmail.com or Instagram and ask (of course without obligation) about the processing time prior to placing your order. It may just take as little as a few days to get your order made and shipped. It depends on the number of markets/orders I need to prepare and on the availability of the fabrics.

I make and ship orders from my small smoke-free sewing studio located in Maarssen, The Netherlands.

The most important measurement for this particular item is the height, so please go by the measurements in the size chart below, as this may vary from the one used in your country. In case of doubt, always size up! If your girl is especially lean or sturdy and you need advice, please contact me prior to placing your order. Thank you!

Size 0-3 months : 56 - 62 cm
Size 3-6 months : 63 - 68 cm
Size 6 months : 68 cm
Size 6-9 months : 69 - 74 cm
Size 9-12months : 75 - 80 cm
Size 12 months : 80 cm
Size 12-18 months : 81-86 cm
Size 18 months : 86 cm
Size 18-24 months : 87 - 92 cm
Size 3 years : 93 - 98 cm
Size 4 years : 99 - 104 cm
Size 5 years: 105 - 110 cm

♡ CARE INSTRUCTIONS ♡

• Main fabric is always either 100% woven cotton or, for stretchy products, min. 95% organic cotton + 5% lycra/elastane as stated in each item's description.

All fabrics are pre-washed to minimize shrinking. To increase the longevity of your garment, please handwash or wash in washing machine at 30°C with like colors. Spin at low speed. Do not tumble dry!

Since this item is handmade, it will be unique and may vary in some small respects from the photos (think of fabric pattern placement), but you will get an item with the same quality and attention to details as the one(s) in the photos.
Please note that colors may slightly vary from images on your computer or tablet due to monitor settings.
