Handmade baby blanket featuring cute mice from The Country Mouse and The City Mouse Collection.

All products are HANDMADE by ME, Daria. 

  • Material: outer fabric - organic loopback jersey (light sweater) from 97% organic cotton + 3% elasthan// backing - 100% waffle jersey cotton.

  • Size: approximately 70x97cm (= 27/28"x38")

  • Price:  the price refers to ONE blanket ONLY. You can choose between the two different patterns shown in the photo. Unless otherwise agreed, ach blanket comes in its own cardboard box. 

These baby blankets featuring mice come in two different mice patterns from The Country Mouse and The City Mouse collection, both on neutral/ light cream background. The patterned fabric is made from 97% stretchy organic cotton and the backing is made from 100% dark beige stretchy cotton with a lovely texture to it.

Even though the colors are the same, if you take a close look to the photos, you will notice that the two blankets show off a different characters combinations. Each character measures about 3 cm in height (= 1,25") and the blanket weighs about 410 grams (= 0,9 lb) (excl. giftbox).

The price refer to ONE BLANKET ONLY. You can choose between two options:

The "Country life" pattern - male characters only - This pattern features male characters only. Here you see the cheese maker wearing his tiny clogs, a mouse carrying fruit, another one playing a cheerful tune on his guitar and a mouse walking with his little bundle on a stick. In general the colors are very neutral compared to the other mice pattern and there is almost no red color. Overall this pattern is more neutral and less busy than the other one. 

The "Strawberries party" pattern - features male as well as female characters and is scattered with sweet and juicy strawberries. A freshly baked strawberry cake is about to be served and the plants are being taken care of. All mice are working very hard... Wait... Did I say ALL mice? How about that little guy taking a siesta under the strawberry plant? Compared to the other mice pattern, this one is busier, more colorful and in particular the color red is more prominent.

The blanket comes in a giftbox, with tags (see photos) ready to be gifted (unless you include a message in which you tell me otherwise). Please note that the color of the tape/ribbon around the box may vary depending on availability.

 

As for the whole The Country Mouse and The City Mouse collection, the illustrations were created by the talented Anastasia Wessex.

These cozy baby blankets are soft and perfect for sleeping time or to keep the little ones warm during a stroll on the baby carrier. Those cute little mice will conquer every parent and older siblings, which is why I am sure this blanket will definitelybe a very appreciated gift. All you need to do is pick one of the two patterns. Which one will it be?

Because each item is unique it will vary in some respects from the pictures (think of fabric pattern placement). The colors may slightly differ due to light and/or monitor settings. What does not change is its quality and attention to details.
