Is that Little Red Riding Hood? Of course it is! I am, however, a little worried that she may not have followed her mother’s advice and wandered into the forest, where the wolf is about to... hmm... devour her?

Devour her, you think? Not quite! Our talented children’s book author and illustrator, Rosalinde Bonnet, has her own delightful version of what really happened that day in the woods—and I can assure you, it involves no child being eaten. Far from it!

This collection is filled with wonderful characters: tiny elves and fairies; a young Pied Piper of Hamelin, followed by little mice enchanted by the melody of his flute; modern interpretations of beloved princesses; bunnies, an owl, a sweet hedgehog, and even a unicorn. You will also find oh-so-many trees, along with mushrooms and flowers in every colour of the rainbow.

And let’s not forget the book-loving green dragon, who would not hurt a fly—or breathe fire on anyone. All of these characters share one thing in common: they LOVE reading. Luckily for them, there is a library in the forest, with shelves carved into tree trunks and stumps. It is thanks to this magical library, hidden deep in the woods, that we can imagine a kind-hearted dragon and a friendly wolf.
