Shipping & Delivery
I ship to almost every country in the world. All packages can be traced. I have been looking for the most affordable shipping fees for each country via either DHL or Post.nl, which is why the costs can vary a little bit even within the European Union. Please, check your cart to find out the shipping costs which apply to your country.
Below are some examples:
NETHERLANDS: 4.50 Euro via DHL (free for orders above 100 Euros) or 6.75 Euro via Post.nl
BELGIUM: 9.80 Euro via DHL
EUROPE 1 - (ITALY, LUXEMBOURG, GERMANY, FRANCE, AUSTRIA, SPAIN, DANEMARK, SWEDEN): 10.80Euro (free for orders above 150 Euro)
EUROPE 2 - (FINLAND, IRLAND,PORTUGAL) 12.80 Euros
EUROPE 3 - (CROATIA, CZECH REPUBLIC, MALTA, SLOVENIA, SLOVAKIA, HUNGARY, BULGARY, EASTLAND, LETLAND) 16.80 Euro
REST OF THE WORLD: 26.30 Euro
REST OF THE WORLD - 23 Euros
All "ready to ship" items will be shipped within 3 working days, but in most cases the next working day.
If your order is a 'made to order' item (you can choose for this option if the item is not ready to ship) it will be made and dispatched within 14 workings days. As stated in the item description, if you need to receive the product earlier, all you have to do is get in touch with me (Daria) at firstname.lastname@example.org, or via Instagram, or the Chat here on the website and inquire about the processing time prior to placing your order. It may just take as little as a few days to get your order made and shipped. It depends on the number of orders I need to prepare and the availability of the fabrics.
I ship orders from my small smoke-free sewing studio located in Maarssen, The Netherlands.
The delivery time (which is the time it takes for the item to be delivered to you from the moment it gets physically collected by the DHL or Post.nl service point) depends on your location. You can always contact me prior to placing an order if you need your package for a certain date and would like a shipping upgrade.
Domestic orders (within the Netherlands) sent via DHL and usually delivered in 1-2 days. Domestic orders (within the Netherlands) sent via Post.nl are usually delivered the next working day.
International orders within European countries are sent with DHL or Post.nl. All packages can be tracked. You will receive a Track & Trace number/code at the e-mail address you provided either from me or from DHL/ Post.nl.
- EUROPE 1 > up to 5 working days.
- EUROPE 2 > 5-8 working days
- EUROPE 3 > up to 10 working days
International orders outside Europe can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months if held for too long at customs.
Please note that international packages may need additional time for delivery. Usually up to 2 additional weeks, depending on the amount of time needed to clear customs. This amount of time is dependent on the volume of packages going through customs and each destination country's protocols. The customer is responsible for ALL duties and taxes incurred during shipment, which may be required by the courier to release the package. These tools are levied by shipment location's government and are not affiliated or charged by talestowear.com. Please, contact your local customs bureau for additional tax and duty information and/or local tax estimates.
Return and Exchange Policy
I really hope that you love your little one's new clothes and accessories, but if for any reason you don't, please contact me (Daria) by emailing email@example.com for a return confirmation e-mail and return address.
All items should be returned within 14 days of the returns confirmation email.
CAN I EXCHANGE OR RETURN A FAULTY ITEM? If your item is faulty* I will refund, repair or replace it - just contact me and I will be happy to help. If you need to send the faulty item back to me I will refund your return shipping costs once I have the item back with me.
I do my very best to ensure sturdy, safe packaging of all of my pieces, but in the unfortunate case of a broken or damaged good, a clear photo and description of the damaged good must be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible, but in any case within 2 days of receipt. Instructions for return or exchange of the damaged good will be provided in a reply email.
*faulty item: Please note that colors may slightly vary from images on your computer or tablet due to monitor settings and this is NOT deemed to be faulty.
CAN I RETURN AN ITEM IF I DON'T LIKE IT OR DON'T LIKE HOW IT FITS? If you want to return something for another reason you are welcome to exchange the items for something else or request a refund. Unless the item is faulty, you are required to pay the return shipping costs yourself.
Please be aware that for a full refund minus the original shipping costs, the item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, unsoiled and undamaged. As soon as I have received and approved your return, I will process your refund within 2 working days.
Any item showing signs of wash and wear will be returned to you and no refund will be issued.
Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment as the original purchase. Shipping charges and sales taxes on shipping are not refundable.
CAN I RETURN A CUSTOM MADE ITEM? It is important to note that if any items have been made to your child's measurements or personalized in anyway then they are exempt from my returns policy and you cannot return them unless they are faulty.
