• Material: 100% medium weight woven cotton

• Size:   0-3 months up to 12-18 months  (86 cm). If the size you're looking for is not available as "ready to ship", you can still order this romper by selecting the option "made to order" (depending on the availability of the fabric). The lead time for this specific item is up to 10 working days (= 2 weeks). The ASLAN romper is cute and comfy, made from 100% medium weight cotton and lined with a white layer of extremely light and soft cotton which hides all seams and makes it a dream to wear even for new borns. It is the perfect garment for warmer Spring and Summer days.  The design is simple, sweet and timeless.

Pretty and practical, the ASLAN romper is comfortable to wear with an ease of about 6 cm (2,5 inch) around the chest. It features elastic in legs, a snap crotch for fast diaper change and shoulder straps with real working round buttons made of coconut shell. 

It comes in size 0-3 months as well, which makes it a perfect baby shower gift. Because it is available 4 different colors/ patterns and collections all you have to do is pick one! Please read further for a description of each color and pattern of the two collections available now.

THE COUNTRY MOUSE AND THE CITY MOUSE

Do you remember the fable of The Country Mouse and The City Mouse? It used to be one of my favorites when I was little and I remember every little detail of it. The country mouse of my youth was quite malnourished and didn't look healthy to be honest, but I definitely can't say the same about the sweet country mice of this collection. Growing up I came across different versions of this story, all equally adorable and each with its unique traits. The colorful illustrations on these lovely ASLAN rompers were made exclusively for my shop by the talented UK based illustrator Anastasia Wessex, who made my small big dream come true. Look at all those adorable hardworking and/or chilling mice! They just want to make you join them and enjoy the country life. 

LIGHT JADE GREEN (photo 1) / strawberries party pattern: For all strawberry lovers out there, this pattern in particular is inspired by this irresistibly delicious small red fruit. If you love a splash of red color, then you'll love this pattern. All mice but one are working hard to make delicious strawberry jams and cakes. There's a lot to be done, from carrying the fruit, to watering the plants and finally baking. Everyone is doing their best. Well, everyone but one mouse. Can you spot the  only mouse who is taking it easy?

PINK (photo 2)/ bikes + mom pattern: This Dutch-themed pattern features female mice only: there's a mevrouw (Mrs) Mouse riding her bike on a bright Spring day with a basket full of fresh flowers, a mummy walking with a insanely cute baby on her back and a little girl chasing butterflies with her net. Where do you think they're headed to? The country or the city? Can you spot all those adorable tiny clogs?

BLUE (photo 3) or  CREAM (photo 4)/ city mouse pattern: This pattern in particular features male characters only. The City mouse finally makes his appearance in the countryside... he just met up with the country mouse. The latter is wearing clogs and showing him some freshly made cheese. The city mouse definitely does look much different than all the other mice in this collection and we cannot but wonder what will he really be thinking of all his fellow mice out there? Have fun finding all the different characters in this dreamy country mouse world.

MAGICAL TEA TIME COLLECTION

PINK (photo 5) or BLUE (photo 6) with dragon: Are you familiar with those dangerous fire-spitting dragons which terrorize  everyone and everything around them? Well, forget about them! Wonderful children's books illustrator Rosalinde Bonnet introduces us to a completely different breed of dragons. Her chill, tea-sipping dragons read books and enjoy the company of elves, fairies and lovely critters. Definitely nothing you should be afraid of!

This cute bubble romper model is called ASLAN and if you love Rosalinde Bonnet's illustrations, you can choose between two colors, either pink or blue The pink one features the complete pattern created by this talented French children's books illustrator, while the blue one features male characters only. Of course you'll find our not-so-scary-dragon in both of them, but if you prefer a romper without the fairies in it, then you should opt for the blue one. Please check the close-ups for a better view of the details/differences.

Please note that that you will receive an item similar to the one portrayed in the photos, but that the actual pattern placement may vary. Each item is unique. Also note that as of now sizes 9-12 months and 12-18 months will only be made upon request as "made-to-order" garments (depending on fabric availability).
