If the size you're looking for is not ready to ship, you can still order it by choosing the "made-to-order" option depending on fabric availability (the realization time is 2 to 3 weeks, but probably much less. Soft, warm and roomy are the three words which better describe the qualities of this lovely organic HOGWARTS hooded vest/jacket. Ooops! Did I mention irresistibly cute? The patterned outer fabric is a real eye-catcher! Let's start from its softness, though. What makes it so fluffy? A combination of two fabrics: a brown, brushed French Terry for the lining (warm sweater fabric) and a loopback cotton jersey for the outer fabric. What makes it so fluffy? The brushed lining works its magic. What makes it warm? The fact that the lining is made from an organic warm sweater material called French Terry, with a brushed yet not visible inside and the outside is a slightly thicker organic cotton jersey. What makes it roomy? The fact that it's designed to have a generous fit and can be used either as a longer buttoned vest as well as a lighter jacket (not water proof, of course), depending on the outside temperature and on what your child is wearing underneath.
Even though the olors are the same, if you take a close look to the photos, you will notice that the two vests show off a different characters combination. You can choose between two options:
The "City mouse" pattern - This pattern features male characters only. We'll refer to it as "The City Mouse" pattern, because here you see the elegant city mouse making his appearance. Despite of his cilinder hat, a bow tie and a walking-cane he's definitely not stealing the show. How about all the other cute fellow country mice? There's even one wearing wooden clogs!
The "Strawberries party" pattern - features male characters as well as female characters and is scattered with sweet and juicy strawberries. A freshly baked strawberry cake is about to be served and the plants are being taken care of. All mice are working very hard... Wait... Did I say all mice? How about that little guy taking a siesta under the strawberry plant?
As for the whole "The Country Mouse and The City Mouse" collection, the artwork was created by Anastasia Wessex, a very talented illustrator based in the U.K.,who collaborated with me on this lovely collection.
The lining of this garment is made from an even organic brown fabric which truly makes the patterned fabric pop up! The vest closes on the front with small, rund, wooden coconut pattern.
